Tea Time

Serendipity Stamps is happy to announce the addition of Jeanne Jachna to our Design Team!   Check out her blog at http://akeptlife.blogspot.com/  Welcome Jeanne!

Last week’s challenge was “Tea Time”   Take a look at the SS DT’s contributions to this theme.  Look closely!   These cards are full of beautiful and clever little details.

The card below was created by Amy Cokley using 636D Japanese Teapot.  It’s hard to tell from the photo, but Amy used a clear glaze on her red teapot.

The card below was created by Anya Schrier, using 1242E Heart Cup and 1240D You’re Just My Cup.   Notice that her cup is a postage stamp and the words are stamped on a Post Card!

The card below was made by Miriam Napier using 635QCL Tea Pot Cling Set.  The top image is the front of her card and the next one is the inside of her card.  Miriam used beautiful Japanese Washi paper for her background.

The card below was made by Jenny Groppe using images from the 1240QCL You’re Just My Cup Cling Set.   On the outside of the card she stamped the Heart Teapot and on the inside corner, she stamped the cup.

And last but not least we have Kathie Bailey’s card.   Kathie used the Heart Cup 1242E image and the Tea Border 080E image for her card.

All The Pretty Dresses

When I asked the new design team members which stamps they wanted to begin working with, I was happy to find many of them chose one of my very favorite stamps, Three Dresses – 017G.  This is one of the “original 65″ – the 65 stamps I had in my first printed catalog.  It is very dear to me because I have three daughters!  When I started SS, my oldest two daughters were 5 and 7 yrs old and wouldn’t wear anything BUT dresses (boy has that changed!).  Now there are three girls, ages 14, 14, and 16.  And the closest they get to a dress is a too-short jean skirt!  Anyway, I thought you might like to see a group of these wonderful dress cards!
