Red and Blue Ribbons
Congratulations to my Uncle Wilbur for winning a blue ribbon at the Pasco County (Florida) Fair! He won it for his Guava Jelly (and also one for his Cane Syrup). I was never a big fan of Cane Syrup (being a Yankee – as my Florida cousins used to call me) but I once had a jar of Guava Jelly that my grandmother had made and it was just about the most heavenly thing a person could taste. If you ever have the chance to taste some, don’t pass it up! And what does this have to do with rubber stamping? Just scroll down past Uncle Wilbur’s ribbon and you’ll see Sue Eldred’s red ribbon!
Sue Eldred made the card below using our new Stamp of Approval – 1205E image. The red “ribbon” is a party streamer – crepe paper. And that background? That’s a newspaper with a photo of Sue’s son – who had won student of the month!
