Serendipity Stamps Blog

I came across a cache of stamps the other day – guppies – the kind that reproduce quickly!   So just to get them out of the way I’ve added a 25 Cent Sale category to www.serendipitystamps.com.  All of these stamps are unmounted, but many have “sticky” cushion on the back (that’s the cushion used to mount a stamp to a wood block – and it can usually be easily removed).   Limit 2 of any stamp.

Now – on to postcards!   Remember, the deadline for our customer postcard challenge is April 21st.   The postcard must be flat – something the PO would deliver with a .28 cent postcard stamp.   Below is Anya Schrier’s post card.   She used 762QCL English Rose Cling Set, 330F Post Card and 1195F May The Peace of the Lord to create the beautiful vintage-look card.   And, since it has to be flat, with no do-dads attached (do you suppose do-dad has an official definition for USPS guidelines?), she stitched for her embellishment – perfect!  And notice how she set up her photo – with canning jars and a vintage plate  – little things that make her photo really nice.
