New Spring Line and a Quickie Sale!

I recently added the new spring line of stamps to the our shopping website – www.serendipitystamps.com.   To see them all just go to the New Stamps section.  To give you a little inspiration I’ve included two adorable cards created by the Serendipity Stamps Design Team.  Both of these cards were created using our new adorable Skunk – 1203G, which you can purchase as an individual stamp or as the cling set 1203QCL.    The set comes with both the skunk and the word stamp Scent With Love – 1204D

The first card was created by Kathie Bailey – wouldn’t this make a great Valentine’s Day card?.

And the second card was created by Amy Cokley.   These bright colors are just the thing for a day like today, when all I see out my window is white snow!

Knitting Night

OK – I admit it – this time of year you’re more likely to find me knitting than stamping.   That’s because all my stamping stuff is in the basement – and it’s about 50 degrees in the basement right now!   The other  night I went to “Knitting Night” at church.   Oh it was fun and so inspiring!   There were folks there just learning, folks like me who’ve been knitting for a few years, and there were a couple of ladies who are just plain amazing.    My friend Nina puzzled through a pattern I’ve had for over 10 yrs and have been too intimidated to try.   After an hour or so she’d worked it out and declared, of all things, that it was fun!   I have gotten lazy about my crafting.   If something is hard I just don’t try it.   My excuse is that there is just too much else in life that’s hard.   But that’s balony isn’t it?   Sure - taxes are hard, figuring out computer problems is hard, and so is raising 3 teenage daughters.   But knitting?   Stamping?   Cooking?   They’re not hard – they’re fun!  The card below was made by Sue Eldred using 478F – Yarn Basket.   Other knitting themed images are 759D Knitting and 850B – Hand Knit By (on the $ sale right now!).

Bird Feet

We have a little wooden table on our front porch – it’s where I set my wine glass in the evenings during the summer when I have a moment to sit out there and watch my garden grow.   Nothing growing in the garden now!   But the other day my daughter took this picture of little bird prints in a dusting of snow on the table.   Hopefully the little bird found a stray sunflower seed while stomping around on my table.  Below the photo are two cards to remind you that bird stamps are not just for Christmas!   Those little guys need to be seen all year round!
