For the birds

Last year for my birthday I asked my husband to put a birdfeeder outside the bathroom window (this is how I get “honey do” projects done – I ask for them in leiu of gifts – otherwise they never happen).   My husband is an engineer – any of you familiar with the species engineerius meticulitius know that hanging a nail above the window was not going to be his solution – you can see my birdfeeder in the photo beneath Sue Eldred’s fun, creative card made using the Autumn Birdhouse 1179QCL and Music Is What Feelings 1180E.

The “pod” propped on the bracket in front of the birdfeeder is a sunflower from which almost all of the seeds have been eaten.  The birds used it as a place to stand and squawk at each other for 3 hours before they figured out those were sunflower seeds!
